Brauer Group sells Measuretek operation
During 2004 the high level of new business at both HMC Brauer and Brauer Coley has caused the Brauer Group to review its business strategy and divest itself of Brauer Measuretek.

To this end the Directors announced the sale on the 13th December 2004 of Brauer Measuretek, based in Leighton Buzzard, UK, to Martyn Gill, the company's former managing director.
Gill will continue the business under the name Quality Gauging Systems.
Brauer Group Managing Director, David White, explained, "With the two principal companies doing so well, and having such a strong synergy, it was clear that the provision of measurement services had become peripheral to our core business.
The sale of Measuretek will allow us to concentrate all our energies on developing and growing the business and providing our customers with the products and services they are looking for.".
