Conveyor belt with blue Habilene coating for the food market allows foreign particles to be easily detected in almost any food product and any remaining food residues become far more visible.

The Habasit Belting Division of Habasit Rossi has recently introduced an innovative new conveyor belt with blue Habilene coating for the food market A key reason by forward thinking Habasit for choosing blue, is that this colour rarely exists in foodstuffs, which means that by using a blue belt foreign particles can be easily detected in almost any food product

In addition, remaining food residues become far more visible.

Other benefits include significantly improved product visibility and since blue material is less reflective than smooth white surfaces, there is far less interference with optoelectronic devices.

One of the most important tasks in modern food production is to guarantee food hygiene and safety and Habasit has worked closely with the industry in order to develop the blue range.

Habasit has recently introduced several new products to its existing range of blue TPU (Polyurethane) and Silicone coated fabric belts.

Newly released to the market is a conveyor belt with a blue Habilene coating, another solution within the poloyolefine coated Cleanline range, specifically developed to improve the release properties of sticky foodstuffs.

Furthermore there is the blue HySAN, a high oil and fat resistant PVC coating.

Habasit believes that its belts provide the highest level of food safety and cleanability in the marketplace today.

UK sales director, Russell Blakeley commented: "Every industry is unique with special requirements and conditions that continue to evolve.

These may range from the fulfilment of legal requirements for hygiene such as FDA, through to coping with aggressive chemicals for cleaning.

Our specialist technical and sales teams combine their knowledge of our belts and your industry to develop innovative solutions such as our blue Habilene coated belt." Blue-coated conveyor belts have been steadily gaining a higher share in bakery, biscuit, dairy, meat, fish and poultry processing plants because they provide better food hygiene.

Conveyor belts play an important role in many food processes because they pull everything together.

If they unexpectedly breakdown the whole production line can come to a stand still.

Unexpected downtime means more costs, less output, potential order backlog and overtime, making Habasit's innovative new belt essential within your production environment.
