A non-stick lightweight modular plastics belt is especially suitable for adhesive type foods such as pastries, confectionery, fruits, vegetables and frozen seafood, which do not stick to this belt.

'Hard on the heels' of the easy clean conveyor, Habasit Rossi (UK) has introduced a new non-stick lightweight modular belt for the UK food market With an indent of 16mm, the M1234 'Nub Top Flush Grid' 0.5 is ideal for small product transfers

It is especially suitable for adhesive type foods such as pastries, confectionery, fruits, vegetables and frozen seafood which do not stick to the new belt and can therefore be transferred easily from one production belt to another.

Hygiene is the key issue in any food processing.

One of the most important tasks in modern food production is to guarantee 100% product safety.

However, many do not even consider the hygienic design of conveyor belts which transport food.

The new plastics modular belt has a unique open hinge design which allows better cleaning as the pivot rod is exposed to part of its surface.

It also boasts a Nub Top surface which provides easier product release.

This belt is available in a range of colours and materials such as the FDA-conforming materials PE natural and blue, PP white and POM white, allowing users to separate or segregate different food items.

A range of additional optional items are available to complement the M1234.

These include flights and side guards.

The side guards are 50mm in height and have a maximum edge distance of 16mm (0.63in).

The new non-stick plastics modular belt complements the company's existing product line-up, which includes fabric based belts and power transmission belts.

Habasit Rossi, who operates from Silsden, West Yorkshire, UK, is a world leader in the belting industry and is a leading supplier to the textile, wood, paper, food, airports and automotive industries.
