Portal machining centre performs 5-axis, high-speed machining of magazine-fed bar, extrusions and rolled profiles on six sides and offers fast set-up times and short cycle times.

Described by the company as a 'one-man-factory', the PBZ NT machining centres have a water-cooled high frequency 19kW spindle motor with HSK-50-E spindle, direct-path measuring systems, including the rotating axis, tool magazines of different capacities, hydraulic clamping of the rotating axis and saw blades up to 500mm diameter.
Options include through-spindle coolant system, laser monitoring of tooling and workpiece and swarf conveyor.
Handtmann offers a choice of CNC systems and 2D and 3D programming systems.
