Stopper units halt pallets on roller
conveyors

Stopper units arrest the movement of pallets on powered roller type conveyors, which embraces probably the largest such units available and the market's first horizontal axis design.

Hoerbiger-Origa has developed a range of stopper units for arresting the movement of pallets on powered roller type conveyors, which embraces probably the largest such units available and the market's first horizontal axis design Advancing the state of the art, Hoerbiger-Origa has incorporated a linear decelerator type shock absorber into their design, so that even delicate and high speed heavy loads can be stopped with confidence

At the heart of each unit is a short stroke pneumatic cylinder, which when extended raises the stopper head above the roller bed to bar the passage of pallets.

In the vertical axis units the cylinders act directly to lift the stopper; the horizontal design uses a roller cam to pivot the stopper upwards.

Bore sizes are 50mm and 80mm, and strokes are a choice of 30mm or 50mm, and the cylinders can be specified as single- or double-acting to suit each application.

By having both horizontal and vertical configurations, Hoerbiger-Origa can provide units to fit just about any space envelope.

The units have sealed for life lubrication, and are designed so that the shock absorber can be replaced if damaged due to misuse.

With the variety of sizes and options, Hoerbiger-Origa's range of stopper cylinders is unrivalled in scope and able to meet just about every conceivable situation. Request a free brochure from Hoerbiger-Origa ...
