Fan drives supplier hires QA director
Worldwide provider of fan drives, fans, suspension products and wire form products has hired Doug Bassinger as director of corporate quality assurance for all Horton locations.

Bassinger will have responsibility for TS 16949 quality system maintenance and auditing, supplier quality assurance, reliability engineering, field service and warranty administration.

Most recently, he was director of quality assurance for the US operations of Getrag Corporation in Newton, North Carolina, a systems supplier and integration partner of transmission and drivetrain systems.
Bassinger also held positions as purchasing manager and manufacturing manager with Getrag.
In addition, Bassinger has worked at General Motors - as quality supervisor for the facility in Three Rivers, Michigan; and as quality and materials supervisor for the facility in Toledo, Ohio.
