Technical Manager Keeps Harlands Up On

Kelly has many years' experience within the technical side of the self-adhesive labels sector and has worked for other major companies in the sector, including Trident, Waddington Group, Tinsley Robor and CCL (formerly Jarvis Porter).
Commenting on his new role Kelly said: "To stay ahead in this industry you must be on top of developments from both a technological and process point of view or you get left behind.
My role is to ensure that we are tuned in to the rapidly changing equipment and processes within our market place." Harlands managing director, Ian Wright said: "We are 100 per cent committed to the continual development of Harlands products and services and we need to ensure we make the right decisions.
The pace at which things are changing in the market at the moment dictates that we must have someone constantly evaluating and this is where Tony comes in.
We are currently looking at many enhancements across our plant base and are considering further investment including the possibility of a digital print engine.".
