Flexible jaw couplings transmit high
torque

The inclusion of a flexible and resilient polyurethane element between aluminium hubs allows flexible jaw couplings to transmit high torque with little or no backlash.

The inclusion of a flexible and resilient polyurethane element between aluminium hubs allows the new range of Flexible Jaw Couplings from Huco to transmit high torque with little or no backlash This high performance is maintained even in the presence of significant shaft misalignment

A unique concave pocket in each hub eliminates edge pressure, protecting the element from wear to give exceptional service life.

Produced by Huco, the UK's only manufacturer of small precision couplings, the new Flexible Jaw Couplings are available in four sizes giving torque capacity up to 17Nm and speeds up to 40,000 rev.min-1.

This new range is further extended by a larger size imported range of flexible jaw couplings in aluminium and cast iron, with running torques up to 3530Nm.

The full range includes elements with a choice of three hardness levels which can be selected to vary the torsional stiffness and damping characteristics of the coupling.

The different elements share common qualities such as resistance to oils, grease and many solvents, atmospheric and chemical resistance plus excellent shock and vibration damping.

Huco is able to ensure excellent stocks are available.

Hubs can be supplied bored to meet customers' specific requirements or can be ordered un-bored.

As a coupling manufacturer with an extensive range of coupling types, Huco is always able to specify the best solution for the customer's application. Request a free brochure from Huco Dynatork ...
