Husky Injection Molding Systems will showcase its newest line of HyPET systems, demonstrate specialised preform production and display various beverage-related products at PETpoint 2005.
Husky said that it shipped its first 96-cavity system for hot-fill performs in 1997, whilst 144-cavity systems have been at customer facilities for two years.
A Husky 72-cavity multi-layer preform production system for a hot-fill application has also been in operation at a customer facility for four years.
Mike Urquhart, Husky's vice president of PET systems, said: "Our preforms meet the most stringent quality demands.
Husky is the only supplier that builds molds, robots and machines in-house.
As a result, we can control preform quality more precisely than other suppliers.
This advantage is important for all performs but even more so for hot-fill preforms with crystallised neck finishes.".
