Huntingdon Fusion Techniques left its Huntingdon home on December 19 to relocate to larger premises in Burry Port in Carmarthenshire.
These are used in the plumbing, HVAC, swimming pool, pipeline and pipework fabrication industries for low pressure testing, leak testing and stopping of pipes and pipework fabrications.
Typical industries using these plugs include shipbuilding, processing, petrochemical, foundry, finishing, automotive, dairy, brewery, aerospace, construction and many others.
For debris stopping and low pressure testing, a range of inflatable stoppers is shown, suitable for pipes from 25 to 2000mm diameter.
These are used widely in the power, gas and water industries amongst others mentioned above.
They are useful to prevent particles and foreign bodies from entering hygienic pipe work and sensitive machinery such as turbines.
Inflatable stoppers are available in cylindrical, spherical and rectangular formats.
Mechanical stoppers made from aluminium and steel also have their own pages, showing their capabilities in pipe sizes up to 2000mm diameter as well.
These are used by offshore fabricators for topside work, operations underwater as well as the other industries mentioned above.
For the leak testing of concrete pipe joints to the latest European Standards, a range of robust inflatable stoppers is also shown.
