UK's MoD orders more pipe weld purge systems

The UK's Ministry of Defence (Battlefield Support) has ordered more Weld Pipe Purge Systems for the purging of 75mm pipework welds.
Following a substantial initial order for Weld Pipe Purge Systems that were supplied for use in the Falkland Islands the UK's Ministry of Defence (Battlefield Support) has subsequently ordered similar equipment for use in Afghanistan.
The current requirement is for the purging of 75 mm pipework welds.
Such size welds are purged with the 3 diameter Argweld Inflatable Pipe Purging systems which has a range of 58-84mm diameter.
