Water soluble weld purge film is widely used throughout the pipe industry as a low-cost gas barrier during weld purging and is removed by flushing the pipe.
Huntingdon Fusion Techniques has released new water soluble purge film data sheet Responding to requests from customers for details of the physical properties of soluble film HFT has published a data sheet to complement an earlier publication on chemical analysis
The film is widely used throughout the pipe industry as a low-cost gas barrier during weld purging.
The HFT product is unique in offering the post weld opportunity to remove all traces of the film simply by flushing with plain water and has been approved for use on nuclear sites where contamination is an important consideration.
