Stoppers seal any tube from 12-162mm
diameter
Any pipe or tube from 12-162mm diameter can be sealed - for purging during, say, welding - with a recently enlarged range of expandable plugs.
The expandable plugs product range manufactured by Huntingdon Fusion Techniques has been further developed and a matching plug can now be provided to seal any tube over the entire diameter range from 12 to 162mm With the increasing ranges of tubes and pipes and the variation of materials, effective sealing some of the diameters has been beyond conventional plug sizes

Backing tape prevents weld failure
Backing tape used in the welding of seams or runs help to prevent weld failures and produce flat, slag-free welds requiring no grinding or backgouging.
The introduction of additional 'between size' diameters in the 12 to 115mm range now completes a comprehensive portfolio which can be used with confidence in a very wide range of end-user industries but in particular in the building sector where they are extensively used for drain plugging prior to undertaking sealing tests.
Pipestopper plugs are manufactured from Nylon 6, an engineering plastics, which combines impressive resistance to corrosion with high mechanical strength.
The sealing rings are expanded easily using a screw mechanism and can be supplied in silicone, nitrile, viton or natural rubber depending n the specific application.
Most sizes have a 1/2in BSP threaded waterway for drainage or air testing. Request a free brochure from Huntingdon Fusion Techniques ...
