Infrared pyrometer checks forging
billets
With a temperature span of 250 to 1800 deg C the Infrared Pyrometer from IMPAC is an ideal instrument for measuring the temperature of heated components prior to forging.
With a temperature span of 250 to 1800 deg C and a small target spot of just 4mm at a distance of 800mm it is an ideal instrument for measuring the temperature of heated components prior to forging Its fast response time of 20 msec ensures that even the fastest procedure is easily covered
Working at a short wavelength, the problems of low and variable emissivity are minimised, ensuring a quality and repeatable measurement.
The built-in data logger can store upto 750 readings for recall or downloading to a PC.
The IGA15 plus has both an analogue and a digital output making data-logging and recording quick and easy.
Using the optional Portawin Software, stored or real time data can be analysed using a standard PC.
The IGA 15 plus breaks new ground in the temperature measurement of metal surfaces and gives unequalled value for money, costing upto 50% less than competitive models.
