Claas, a leading German agricultural equipment manufacturer, has signed an international, three year, multi-million euro contract with IBM.

Claas has always had a strong focus on innovation, and wanted to synchronise and integrate the development of mechanical, electrical, electronics and software components more efficiently (mechatronics).
By implementing IBM PLM solutions at major sites in Germany and France, the group is also enabling its engineering teams to remotely access product development data and share innovative ideas early in the product development process.
