By integrating Orion Enterprise, the company will centralise functions such as purchasing, procurement and accounting across operations to enable business units to report as one company.
As a result of the implementation, fibreglass Coatings expects enterprise-wide visibility across operations, resulting in increased productivity and cost savings.
"Orion Enterprise will provide a scalable platform that fibreglass Coatings needs to track historical information in order to provide accurate forecasting," said Sharad Vajpayee, Vice President of Orion Software for 3i Infotech "By helping fibreglass Coatings to streamline operations, Orion Enterprise will dramatically increase forecasting accuracy and company profitability".

fibreglass Coatings plans to finish the first phase of the implementation of Orion Enterprise and begin integrating Orion WMS in the first half of 2007.
The company expects a seamless transition to the new software and cost savings due to accurate forecasting, inventory planning and procurement.
