Electrical interconnect firm builds in
Europe
With the aim of strengthening its business in Europe, electrical interconnect company, Icore Interational, has appointed a European new business development manager.
Electrical interconnect specialist, Icore International, has appointed Jerome Cheze as European New Business Development manager for the company's power contact business unit Cheze plans to raise customer knowledge of high current connectors and to meet their needs by expanding Icore's product range

High current applications featured
Icore's new contact band technology for high current applications is the main feature on its stand (No B4 160) at Electronica 2004.
His strategy will be to work closely with customers, carefully analysing their needs and optimising the company's operations accordingly.
"Our clients require a very high level of technical competence, which Icore, with its track record for innovation and its extensive experience in the connector field, is exceptionally well placed to provide," said Cheze.
"We will not only be moving forward with new products for general applications, but also in the field of customised products to suit specific user requirements." It is Icore's expert knowledge of the design and manufacture of power contact solutions which attracted Jerome to the position.
"The contact band technology Icore provides is outstanding," Cheze said.
"Add to this a highly motivated team with a commitment to affectively addressing the many challenges in the area of power contacts and I know that I shall be managing a business unit with a very prosperous future." Before moving to Icore, Cheze worked for Multi Contact for five years, where he was involved in sales of connectors into the French market.
Jerome is a graduate of the Bourg School of Business where he studied marketing in industrial sales.
