ICS Triplex and Fisher-Rosemount cooperated to demonstrate OPC (OLE for Process Control) in action at Interkama A demonstration of the ICS Triplex Trusted(tm) fault-tolerant TMR* safety system linked by OPC to a Fisher-Rosemount Delta V(tm) process automation system was shown on the Fisher-Rosemount stand F41/42 in hall 14, and attracted great interest

The OPC Server software resides on the system host network and makes the information in the Trusted(tm) fault-tolerant controller available to the OPC clients in Delta V or any other OPC compliant DCS or SCADA package.
