Fortum has offered OandM services across Europe since the beginning of the 1990's In 2001 Fortum OandM (UK) took over responsibility for the operation and maintenance of four power stations supplying electricity to Rolls Royce prime manufacturing sites throughout the UK

Fortum identified a means of offering an improved service to Rolls Royce.

By providing improved reporting and maintenance planning facilities they will be able to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.

Fortum engineers gain wide-ranging experience of the quality, value and suitability of maintenance product and service providers as they move from contract to contract.

Their engineers have accumulated an enviable degree of knowledge of all leading CMMS products.

For Rolls Royce, they chose the Idhammar System.

The system will be installed at Rolls Royce power stations at Filton, Croydon, Heartlands and Exeter during 2006.
