Tamperproof door interlock safety switches, which conform with OSHA - are designed to protect workers in potentially hazardous situations and as a more reliable alternative to limit switches.

The HS series of safety interlock switches are part of IDEC's growing range of safety products This series of door interlock switches was designed to protect workers in potentially hazardous situations as a more reliable alternative to limit switches

HS switches are tamperproof and conform to OSHA recommendations for doors and access gates.

All of the six models feature direct opening action, which forces the contacts to disconnect when the door is opened, even if they have been welded or stuck.

HS models come in a variety of sizes and include the very small three contact units, the HS6B series.

Available accessories include keys, plugs for conduit openings and tools for adjustments and installation.

Some models feature an optional LED indicator and multiple conduit and key entry slots.

The HS1E and HS1C models have a locking solenoid which provides lockout or time-delayed entry into hazardous areas.
