Genius 118 is a new IEMCA bar feeder for 1 - 18mm bars: with its innovative design and hi-tech features, designed by a team of IEMCA engineers, it is the natural heir to the CH 112 and the CH 220, which have, for years, set the standards for sliding-headstock "Swiss Lathe" feeders Genius 118 in the version for Tornos DECO 13 Basic i is a compact, versatile bar feeder, featuring all-mechanical movement of all machine devices, to ensure total operating reliability and low maintenance requirements, and high-speed bar diameter change, made possible by a few simple adjustments of the new "Quickly and Friendly" solution

Specifications include a bar diameter of 1 - 18mm, bar length of 1500 - 3210mm (Model 32) 1500 - 3730mm (Model 37), bar magazine capacity of 220mm and bar changeover time of 30 sec.

Main features include a double bar-pushing system for shortening the feeder length.

A lubricated guide channel is composed of cast iron sections (interchangeable with CH), which are completely closed during bar machining operations, then gradually opened as the bar-pusher advances (making it ideal for machining small diameter bars).

The entire guide channel can be replaced in just a few minutes.

The selectors on magazine can be easily adjusted according to bar diameter.

Special diaphragm-type bushing (exclusive IEMCA patent) is designed to permit machining of all types of bars without any need for component changeover.

Drive is by a single CC motor which separately actuates bar advancement and the guide opening and closing axis.

The hand-held digital pushbutton pendant control is easy to operate.

Come and see our new bar feeder at EMO 2001, from September 12th to 19th in Hannover.

You will find us in Hall 19 on stand D39!!.
