IFM unveils ASi-based RFID package

IFM Electronic is offering an RFID package based around the AS-i system, allowing up to 31 read or read/write heads to be put on an easily configured system, or added to an existing AS-i network.
No special software or extra wiring is required.
This range includes the DTA200 read/write head and DTA201 reader.
Both are available in a common proximity sensor housing (40 x 40 x 66mm).
Various compatible RFID tags are also available from IFM, which the close-range 125kHz system can read at up to 0.5m/s passing speed, from a distance to the read/write head of up to 65mm.
