SYSPRO voted "Software Company of the

SYSPRO has been awarded "Software Company of the Year" by the Software Council of Southern California (SCSC) SYSPRO was one of three finalists chosen from several hundred nominations.

SYSPRO has been awarded "Software Company of the Year" by the Software Council of Southern California (SCSC) SYSPRO was one of three finalists chosen from several hundred nominations for the award, one of the most prestigious awards in the industry This top recognition was given to SYSPRO based on the company's attainment of the highest aggregate ratings in several categories, including product innovation; sales/revenue growth; team building; positive effect on the technology industry and legislative activities pertinent to the software industry

The honour was presented to SYSPRO's US president Brian Stein at a formal awards banquet in Los Angeles, attended by more than 350 key industry people.

In the acceptance speeches, Stein acknowledged that SYSPRO had emerged from the recessionary economy of 2003 a stronger, more focused company: "We listened to the marketplace and developed and introduced new software solutions that enable the small to medium-size manufacturer and distributor to successfully compete with companies of all sizes." Pat McCarthy, managing director of SYSPRO distributor, Information Engineering, and joint managing director of SYSPRO Europe, said, "We're delighted with the award.

This official recognition of SYSPRO confirms our commitment to delivering leading edge solutions to our customers in the UK and worldwide." This is the second time in the past three years that SYSPRO has been honoured by the Software Council.

In 2002, SYSPRO was runner-up for Software Developer of the Year.
