Automotive Industry Endorses I-Logix MDD/UML Technological Leadership and Automotive Domain Expertise

The objective of the Autosar partnership is the establishment of an open standard for automotive Electrical / Electronic (E/E) architecture.
I-Logix plans to enhance the Rhapsody modeling environment to support Autosar standard and provide integrations to complement Autosar compliant tools.
Also, both Rhapsody and Statemate will have additional support for generating code and documentation compliant with the Autosar Software Component, Autosar Virtual Functional Bus (VFB) and Autosar Runtime Environment (RTE).
Autosar has a three-tiered membership structure.
The three levels are Core Members, Premium Members and Associate Members.
I-Logix, as a Premium member, will contribute its technology and expertise in development of Autosar standards and has rights in the development partnership, including the right to use the Autosar technology with a free-of-charge license and royalty-free for automotive applications, the right to vote on Partnership issues, access to current information and specifications and the right to use to Autosar related IP free of charge.
