A 'state of the art' bottling line replaces slow and combersome hand packing and will allow a niche quality Scottish malt whisky producer to fill up to 2000 bottles/h.

Intercaps, of Newbridge Scotland, have recently completed the installation of a new state of the art bottling line for top quality Malt whisky producers Bruichladdich Distilelry Co The line replaces slow and combersome hand packing and will allow the niche quality whisky producer to fill up to 2000 bottles/h.

The line cosnists of a carton erecting machine, a monoblck rinser filler corking machine followed by a capsuling machine and a two station self adhesive labeller.

To finish off the production the cartons are guided along a conveyor to the packing area where dividers are manually inserted together with metal tubes which are then filled with the appropiate bottle and lidded .

The carton is then sealed coded and send away to be shipped in pallets.

The line was complete in record time and Intercaps and Bruichladdich are deligthed with the results.
