The new DS-111 series LED area light units are sized from 31mm x 26mm upwards and are manufactured from a unique design to offer the best price and performance in a range of machine vision applications which require intense, diffused area front lighting.

"We continue to add to our full portfolio of machine vision technology which we can offer our blue chip customers," commented Christian Demant, Director of Industrial Vision Systems.

"Lighting is a crucial part of the machine vision jigsaw and using our extensive industrial knowledge has given us an innovative and cutting-edge lighting design." The new series of lights are available in Red, White and IR formats and can be strobed for high speed applications.

The lights are housed in industrial grade delrin and aluminium housings for harsh environments.
