The MP2000 outer labeller from Imaje prints and applies direct thermal or thermal transfer labels from 50mm to 120mm square at up to 50 per minute The blow applicator makes no contact with the case and may be positioned up to 75mm from the surface to be labelled to allow for size and position variations

Suitable for use stand-alone or on-line, the MP2000 is designed for continuous use in an industrial environment.

The Imaje MP2000 print and apply labeller has been specifically designed for outer case labelling in a production environment and can be used free standing mounted on the adjustable, stainless steel stand or fully integrated into a product handling system.

The printer module, direct thermal or thermal transfer, prints the full ASCII character set, bar-codes and graphics onto self-adhesive, roll fed labels from 50 x 50mm to 120 x 120mm at up to 50 labels per minute.

The large, 300 mm diameter label roll capacity allows long periods between label replenishment whilst the optional low label visual alarm minimises the risk of a label out condition.

The Blow applicator can apply labels reliably on either horizontal or vertical surfaces of any size outer case.

Accurate control of label position is ensured by photocell detection of case position.

Control may be by a local terminal, with two-line LCD display and alphanumeric keyboard, or from a central production control or ERP computer using the RS232 data interface.

In stand-alone mode, label definitions are held in the printer memory, extendible from 32k to 256k, either in the form of complete label layout or template and variable information data file.

At product changeover, the operator uses the terminal keyboard to call up a specific label layout or data file and appropriate template, making set-up exceptionally simple and quick with minimum risk of error.

The modular construction of the MP2000 simplifies routine maintenance and ensures a high level of machine availability.

Power requirements are 220/240 volts at 1 amp and air supply of 100 l/min at 5 bar.
