High speed marking inkjet coder introduced

High speed marking inkjet coder is available in three different printhead resolutions and has an automatic nozzle rinsing system with an interior cleaning cycle.

For high-speed marking of primary products, the Imaje 9040S small character printer combines the reliability and flexibility of the S8 Master with the ease of use of the 9020 and 9030 the 9040 types.

It is suitable for many industries and a wide range of applications.

Since its launch at the end of 2006, the Imaje 9040 has proved to be as successful as its predecessor, the S8 Master, said Imaje.

The 9040 inkjet coder is available in three different printhead resolutions and continues Imaje's tradition of offering the only true multi head, multi jet inkjet coding solution on the market today.

The automatic nozzle rinsing system with an interior cleaning cycle results in efficient shutdowns and reliable start-ups.

The Jet Speed Control ensures improved print quality and the easy access to consumables, intuitive icons and simple to navigate menus lead to increased user friendliness and ease of use.

* Speed needs met - Imaje said that the introduction of the high speed 9040S further extends the capability of the 9040 range of inkjet printers to cope with applications where speed is important.

Primarily developed to meet the specific demands of the beverage industry in the USA, the Imaje 9040S can print two lines of 7-dot font at up to 2.7m/s.

The space between the two lines of print has been reduced to just 1mm allowing for impeccable print quality on products with limited space such as cans, PET bottles and glass.

The 9040S is also available with IP65 rating making it suitable for humid and dusty environments expanding its versatility for use in a variety of industries.
