IML has received a prestigious award in recognition of its commitment to health and safety

IML Labels and Systems had another reason to celebrate today as Sheffield's Engineering Employers Federation (EEF) presented the firm with their highly coveted Health and Safety Award for 2006.

The award was in recognition of the company's commitment to employee practices.

Over the past twelve months the firm has introduced pre-employment medicals, frequent manual handling assessment and return to work interviews.

The award was presented to John Athey, IML's resource manager, and managing director, Shaun Higgins, at a prestigious awards dinner in the city.

John Athey commented that the award was a result of the hard work the company had put into transforming the mentality of employees towards health and safety in the firm.
