A module I/O system that offers selectable connectivity and a wide variety of I/O types for distributed control and data acquisition requirements has an array of configurations.

Sealevel Systems announces the Seal/O family, a module I/O system that offers selectable connectivity and a wide variety of I/O types for distributed control and data acquisition requirements An array of configurations is available, each designed for maximum flexibility and easy field wiring

Ordering options allow connection to the host device via Ethernet (Modbus/TCP), RS-485 (Modbus/RTU), USB, or RS-232.

Multiple units of any I/O type can be easily daisy chained together using convenient pass-through connectors.

This expansion capability enables a distributed network to be controlled with even a traditional point-to-point USB or RS-232 host connection.

For easy software integration, application programs or 3rd party software can use Sealevel's SeaMAX library or industry standard Modbus protocol.

Seal/O modules are perfect for a wide variety of applications and environments including process control, data acquisition, broadcast automation, security, and facility management.

Five different I/O models are currently available offering a choice of optically isolated inputs, Reed relay outputs, and Form C relay outputs.

Field removable terminal blocks are standard, facilitating fast, flexible field wiring.

Seal/O modules operate from 9-30V DC, and power can be input via terminal block of DC jack.

Both table mount and DIN rail mounting options are available, and configuration is made easy using Sealevel's software configuration tool.

Standard operating temperature range of Seal/O modules is 0 deg C to 70 deg C and extended temperature range (-40 deg C to +85 deg C) is optional.

Seal/O prices start at GBP 160 and product is available immediately from stock.
