Due to the growing popularity from the IPC market, AAEON Technology has now introduced the newest Boxer Control PC, the AEC-6850.

Due to the growing popularity from the IPC market, AAEON Technology has now introduced the newest Boxer Control PC, the AEC-6850 It is the most advanced version of the popular Boxer PC series as it utilizes the low power Intel Celeron M 600MHz or 1.3GHz processor in a fanless design thanks to its innovative compact enclosure which acts as the major heatsink for the system

It also supports up to 512MB of DDR SODIMM memory.

The AEC-6850 is a high specification, compact Control PC measuring just 8.35" x 2.53" x 6.26" and is ideal in space critical applications requiring high speed, low power computing.

The AEC-6850 incorporates an optional multiple drive bay for extended storage.

This bay supports both slim CDROM/CDR/DVD's and Hard Disk Drives.

An integrated 6-in-1 card reader also supports most major flash devices making it an ideal solution for the fast growing multimedia entertainment market.

Additional I/O includes Ethernet, Audio, USB2.0, TV-out, DVI-out and RS-232/422 serial ports.

An optional IEEE 1394 port is also available as well as a UPS Battery Module and GPS Module for vehicular applications.

Stringent environmental testing includes vibration (5 g rms) and shock (100 g peak) and all Boxer PC's come with a two year warranty as standard as well as CE/FCC Class B approvals.

Furthermore, its innovative heatsink design allows the AEC-6850 to operate in temperatures of -15 to 60 deg C.

The AEC-6850 fully supports Windows including CE.NET, XP Embedded, 2000/XP.
