Measuring just 214mm x 95mm x 238mm, the AEC-6900 is ideal for embedded control where space is often at a premium.
Its rugged aluminium chassis is designed to protect the PC in the most industrial of environments ensuring reliable computing with no failure down time costs.
Engineers are constantly striving for higher performance and lower power consumption in their embedded applications.
The AEC-6900 meets these criteria by adopting the 650MHz Fanless Intel Ultra Low Voltage (ULV) Celeron Processor.
The AEC-6900 also as an innovative chassis design which acts as a heatsink for the system ensuring cool running of the PC even in the most extreme temperature conditions (-15 to 65 deg C).
The AEC-6900 offers greater expansion options than previous models, supporting up to two PCI slots (the second one is optional), and two PCMCIA slots.
The AEC-6900's expandable and compact design, combined with it's fanless operation and highly efficient heat conduction mechanism fulfils any rugged application in industrial automation, factory control, test instrumentation and safety surveillance.
The model features four serial ports, one parallel port, four USB 1.1 ports, two LAN interfaces and a VGA port on front and rear panels.
In addition to its flash disk capability via on-board Compact Flash or PCMCIA support the AEC-6900 also allows traditional 2.5" hard disk drives to be used if required.
It is designed to withstand vibration up to 5g rms and has anti-shock capabilities of up to 100g enabling it to operate in the most rugged of environments.
The AEC-6900 supports DC 9-30V power input and can utilise optional external AC power if required.
