Patented stator technology gives more
power
Brushless servomotors and integrated gearmotors employ patented T-LAMO stator technology to provide 35% to 70% more torque and higher efficiency than conventional servomotors.
Inmoco's new Exlar range of SLM brushless servomotors and SLG integrated gearmotors employs patented T-LAMO stator technology to provide 35% to 70% more torque and higher efficiency than conventional high speed brushless servomotors with equivalent frame sizes The SLM servomotors and SLG gearmotors are a family of motion products designed to offer the OEM outstanding performance, quality and customisation possibilities

Brushless digital servos have SERCOS connectivity
Already 40% smaller than equivalent brushless digital servo drives, the Pacific Scientific all-digital PC800 range from Inmoco now offers more functionality, with SERCOS connectivity.
The excellent torque performance and efficiency provided by the motors is the result of a design harnessing the combination of high-density Neodymium iron boron magnets and the limited heat generation qualities inherent in the new T-LAMO segmented stator design.
In particular, the elimination of end turns in the stator, and the use of thermally conductive potting removes the parts most susceptible to failure in a traditional stator.
The design also benefits from interface insulation against the high voltage and currents of today's servo drives, and from Class 180 -H insulation that complies with UL requirements.

Actuator stator design gives 35% more torque
INMOCO has developed its GSX Series, a range of actuators employing T-LAM, a new, segmented lamination stator design, which produces 35% more continuous motor torque.
Roller screws improve linear actuator performance
The new Exlar SR Series of linear actuators from INMOCO integrate patented roller screw technology with an integral brushless servo motor to provide high performance in motion control applications.
The SLM range covers three frame sizes; 60mm, 90mm and 115mm; these units providing maximum continuous torque in the range from 1.69Nm to 19.87Nm at base speeds from 5,000rpm to 3,00rpm.
The servomotors are of a rugged brushless construction, enabling them to withstand the rigours of the factory floor with minimum levels of maintenance.
They also benefit from high levels of sealing, including epoxy-coated housings and IP65 ingress protection, for use in demanding environments.
The suitability of the SLM servomotors for OEM use is further enhanced by the convenient connection options available; MS connectors with embedded leads, or embedded leads with cable plugs, and by the feedback options, which enable the servomotors to be used with almost any commercially available servo amplifier.
Integrated Gearmotors Provide An Ideal OEM System Solution The SLG gearmotors combine the high torque of the SLM servomotors with the excellent efficiency of a planetary gearbox in a totally integrated package.
This design makes the SLG gearmotors the ideal OEM product, providing a system solution rather than a system component.
Because INMOCO supplies the SLG units complete, customers are relieved of the potential problems of specifying a motor from one company and a gearhead from another.
Instead, they get a single product assembled correctly, with no pinion clamps to cause mounting or misalignment problems, and no worries about specifying motor mounting flanges to ensure that the gearhead will install correctly.
The compact integrated design of the SLG gearmotors means that they are extremely useful in applications where high torque and/ or power is required while weight and / or space is at a premium.
The range is wide, offering single and double reduction ratios of 4:1, 5:1, 10:1, 16:1, 20:1, 25:1, 40:1, 50:1 and 100:1 in a package that delivers high levels of stiffness, low backlash, typically 10 arc minutes, and one of the highest power densities available from any electric actuator system.
Special shafts, bearings, flanges and mounts - a wide range of options, including special shafts, mountings, mountings, stators and housing materials are available to customise the SLM and SLG products to meet specific OEM requirements.
In addition, the servo and gearmotors can also be supplied with an integral power-off brake.
With power removed this locks the actuator shaft securing the external load.
The size and performance capabilities of the SLM and SLG units mean that they are ideally suited to challenging motion applications across a wide range of industries.
A typical list of these includes: Machine Tools, Printing, Process Control, Materials Handling, Automatic Assembly, Web Processing, Robotics Packaging Machinery, Coating, Testing and Aerospace. Request a free brochure from Inmoco ...
