Judges sustain Starpack 2007
Judges highlight sustainability issues for Starpack 2007 AN ALL STAR cast of judges will line up to consider the winners of the Starpack Industry Awards 2007, organised by IOP: The Packaging Society.
This year judges have requested that special emphasis be placed on sustainable packaging and consumer convenience issues across all categories "The consumer needs reassurance that sustainable packaging issues are top priority and all parts of the packaging chain must demonstrate how they are investigating sustainable sourcing of materials, the incorporation of recycled content, ensuring that, even when used in combination, materials can be recycled or composted, and that they are using the minimal amount of material possible," explains Gordon Stewart, Head of PIABC and IOP: The Packaging Society
