Spherical bearings have longer life on
screens
Spherical roller bearings for vibrating screens offer long life, owing to a thin-layer chrome plated bore that resists weather influences, water, vapour, alkaline solutions and even some acids.
FAG Spherical roller bearings from Schaeffler (UK) for use in vibrating screens now provide an even longer service life This is due to the improved displacement of function of the exciter shaft which has been achieved through the bearings' new thin-layer chrome plated bore

Split roller bearings cut production downtime
Using split cylindrical or spherical roller bearings on heavy duty machinery, such as rolling stands and extrusion machines, can reduce repair and overhaul costs on complex drive units.
This coating is resistant to weather influences, water, vapour, alkaline solutions, photographic developers and even some type of acids.
It ensures reduced frictional corrosion between bearing bore and shaft and in most cases avoids it completely.
Furthermore it leads to clearly improved wear behaviour of bearings operating in unlubricated condition or conditions of mixed friction.
The coating is bonded at molecular level to the base material and resists high loads.
The bearings' principal dimensions as well as their tolerances of form or position correspond to standard values.
A change of adjacent components is not required and the installation sequence can remain unchanged.
Vibrating screens are mainly used for sorting and classifying goods.
Along with other vibrating units they belong to the most highly stressed types of machines.
Spherical roller bearings with the new thin chromium plated bore ensure that the displacement between bearing bore and shaft is possible for a long period of operation. Request a free brochure from Schaeffler (UK) ...
