Using MAPICS Commerce, MAPICS' tightly integrated storefront solution, manufacturers are able to provide remote, rules-based order entry to their customers and partners.
For more complicated product orders, a new web-based product configurator provides an intuitive user interface that streamlines the selling process.
All of these enhancements offer new ways to conduct business over the Internet making it easier to interact worldwide.
Additional new functionality delivered today supports: multiple customer forecasts for sales and operations planning, user definable fields for manufacturing orders and part lots, enhanced accounts receivable functionality including draft processing and customer-specific control accounts, new EDI transactions, and a new menu system for streamlined navigation.
