Campbell Scientific selects Infor for ERP

An Infor product story

Campbell Scientific, a manufacturer of data acquisition and control products, has selected Infor ERP Syteline for 25 users at its European headquarters.

Campbell Scientific provides data acquisition instrumentation such as data loggers and remote weather monitoring stations.

It will deploy Syteline to help integrate production, purchasing, sales, accounting, contract management, warehousing and service functions.

The system will help streamline workflow, allowing the company to drive efficiencies and hone a competitive advantage.

Campbell Scientific's current ERP system has been in place for a decade and, despite extensive customisation, could not keep pace with the changing needs of the business.

Campbell Scientific needed a new, standardised ERP system that offered both rich functionality and ease-of-use.

After conducting a comprehensive review of internal business processes and the ERP market, Campbell Scientific chose Infor ERP Syteline.

Syteline was selected against a shortlist of three suppliers drawn from an initial evaluation of 20 products.

Critically, Syteline integrates business functions currently operating outside of the ERP system, such as research and development and quality control.

'The functionality of the ERP Syteline most closely matched our needs as an electronics manufacturer and we were happy with the proposed implementation methodology and timescale,' said Mark Pimperton, IT manager and ERP project manager, Campbell Scientific.
