This new ball-nose endmill performs semi-finishing and finishing applications at high feed rates Its unique design provides two fully effective cutting edges - even with small depths of cut

The new BCRD inserts are designed to withstand the high forces encountered in high metal removal applications.

A protrusion on the base of the insert mounts in a mating slot in the pocket.

A high precision location of the cutting is achieved and the very firm clamping minimises the stresses normally exerted on the clamping screw.

This new insert has a straight edge tangential to the round corner and allows machining of a shoulder with a round corner without mis-match.
