Accurate Handheld Microwave Moisture Meter
Isatec have launched the handheld Microwave Moisture Measuring meter, MW1000, in the UK and Ireland.
Following unsuccessful trials of capacitative, resistive, and infrared methods, a Tews system was bought for long term trials of their patented microwave technology.
This proved so successful that engineers were sent to Germany for training and two more trial units were ordered.
This was to enable the customer to fully test the Tews system across their range of mixtures, sizes and forms of product.
Again these trials were a success and the customer decided to standardise on the MW3260 unit with a planar sensor and terminal.
This system will be installed in all of their factories throughout the USA.
To date four MW3260s have been delivered with another four due later in the year.
