The Dymax BlueWave 200 is the highest intensity UVA and visible light producing spotlight available.

The Dymax BlueWave 200 is the highest intensity UVA and visible light producing spotlight available The UV spot/wand light provides faster, deeper curing of UV and visible light curing adhesives, coatings and potting materials

The consistent high intensity of the BlueWave 200 eliminates the need for continuous power adjustment and frequent lamp replacement.

The combination of longer lamp life and higher intensity from multiple wands has not previously been available in UV spotlight curing systems.

With an initial intensity output of 20W/cm2 of UVA (320-390nm), 15W/cm2 visible (395-445nm), and 4.5W/cm2 UVB (280-320nm), the BlueWave 200 allows adhesive curing with multiple wands and can turn one spot lamp into two, three or four curing stations.

A highly efficient system for light division captures maximum intensity and provides more even distribution between each wand.

Using a single-pole light guide, efficient curing can be easily accomplished from 2-5cm away, which allows for a larger area curing than previously possible.

With a multiple wand light guide attachment, the BlueWave light output at the end of each wand is comparable to the most powerful single spot/wand systems available.

The system's high intensity is combined with special filters that match the photoinitiator packages and curing capabilities of different resin types, providing the fastest and deepest cures for a broad range of light curing adhesives.

The new lamp technology results in predictable and slow lamp degradation which results in a useful lamp life of 2kh or more, meaning dramatically reduced replacement lamp costs.

Additionally, spectral distribution output does not shift proportionately.

The lamp's brushed aluminium body is clean-room ready.

Easy-to-read indicators provide standard operating information.

The BlueWave is ideal for many applications including semiconductor, PCB wire tacking, disk drive, repair of conformal coatings, coil winding termination, fibre-optic termination, curing of glob top coatings, glass and assembly of medical devices such as syringes, catheters, tube sets and optics.
