German presses, ex Russia, sold by UK to
Turkey
International Power Presses has sold four 5000kN used Erfurt sidewall presses to Profil Sanayi of Bursa, Turkey.
International Power Presses has sold four 5000kN used Erfurt sidewall presses to Profil Sanayi of Bursa, Turkey IPP had acquired the presses from the Russian Moskovitch plant
Valued at $240,000, the presses will be used by Profil Sanayi to produce automotive components.
The presses, with 500mm stroke, 1200mm shut height and 3150mm x 2100mm beds, were part of a line of five.
The order followed IPP's representation at the Turkish Tatef exhibition in Istanbul, Turkey, in 2001.
IPP still has the fifth ex-Moskovitch Erfurt 5000kN press for sale, along with four French-built Spiertz 4000kN machines.
The latter have 3900mm by 1940mm beds.
The presses were part of a tandem line headed by an 8000kN double-action deep draw press with a 2700mm x 1640mm bed area - also up for sale.
