conferences
More than 2,300 customer representatives from over 1,000 different companies attended the WonderWorld conference series

The WonderWorld conference series was co-sponsored by Microsoft and was conducted worldwide with 19 events throughout the US, Latin America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
They offered educational sessions focused on helping attendees achieve operational excellence for manufacturing and facility management.

The WonderWorld series was designed to provide executives, information-technology professionals, operations management and engineering personnel with important information on how companies can optimise plant and enterprise operations.
According to Wonderware registration information, engineering participants comprised 46 percent of overall attendees, while 33 percent were classified as management and the remaining 22 percent were IT professionals.
"Many diverse management and engineering professionals spanning a variety of industries such as food processing, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and engineering attended the WonderWorld 2006-2007 global conference series," said Tom Muth, director of strategic marketing.
"Wonderware considers its second international WonderWorld conference series a tremendous success in bringing together the different disciplines required to achieve business alignment for operational excellence".
WonderWorld sessions provided attendees with information on how to achieve maximum efficiency and increased performance throughout the enterprise with the use of best industry practices enabled by Wonderware's information and automation software solutions.
In addition, conference attendees learned the benefits of implementing effective production and performance management solutions; strategies for applying plant to business system integration and supply-chain collaboration tactics; methods to achieve more successful plant operations; and the latest information on how to improve production line and equipment efficiencies.
As a result of this past year's success, Wonderware will continue the conference series in 2007-2008.
This year's events will build on the operational excellence theme and will begin in Europe at the end of September.
A single large North American WonderWorld event is scheduled for Oct 23-25, 2007 in Las Vegas.
