New UK Managing Director plans to rapidly develop new sales opportunities and grow market share in automated document capture, processing and handling solutions

ITEsoft, a leading European developer of automated document capture, processing and handling solutions, has appointed Will Edward as Managing Director to drive further growth for the company in the UK market Exploiting his 20 years of Enterprise software sales and operational leadership experience he will be responsible for driving aggressive revenue and profit growth throughout the region

Reporting to Philippe Lijour, ITEsoft's CEO, he will focus on sales opportunities for ITEsoft's Freemind suite of advanced document capture and processing solutions.

Following Will Edward's appointment as Managing Director, June Dean has taken the role of Marketing Director for ITEsoft UK, where she will be working with Will to drive sales growth in the UK.

Will Edward joins ITEsoft from Meridea, an Accenture/Nokia joint venture focussed on delivering advance mobile phone based brokerage, banking and authentication solutions to banks around the world where he was Vice President, Global Sales.

He joined Meridea from database tools vendor Embarcadero Technologies where, as vice president EMEA, he led a highly successful sales turnaround.

He has also held senior positions at ObjectStar (acquired by Tibco), Novadigm (acquired by HP), Pyramid Technology (acquired by Siemens), Stratus Computer and Unisys.
