Munich, Germany-based high-performance roller chain manufacturer Iwis Antriebssysteme introduces its Eurochain range.
Conforming to the ISO 606 and DIN 8187 standards, and with their excellent price:performance ratio, the new drive and conveyor chains are ideal for all standard applications.
Manufactured with solid rollers as standard, their claimed braking strength lies clearly above the DIN-specified minimum values.
To minimise elongation during run-in, the chains are pre-stretched.
All chains have blued side plates and contain the special Eurochain trade mark.
The standard chains are factory pre-lubricated so that there is no need to grease the chains before installation.
Suitable for a temperature range of -25 to +250 deg C, they are optionally available with low-temperature lubrication for temperatures between -50 and +50 deg C.
The Eurochain range includes single, double and triple chains with pitches from 3/8in to 2in.
Manufactured in Europe and distributed by Iwis, the Eurochain range of standard chains is subjected to the same stringent, ongoing quality control that all Iwis high-performance and precision roller chain systems undergo.
Fast, reliable delivery is ensured by the central location of the Eurochain logistics centre in Germany.
The Eurochain product range includes standard simplex, duplex and triplex roller chains to DIN 8187 and ISO 606, from 06B to 32B.
Also available are roller chains with straight side plates, attachment conveyor chains with straight 'M' style and bent 'K' style plates, extended pins and high-grade stainless steel roller chains to DIN 8187 and AISI 302-30.
