Cold cleaners, degreasers and diluents to be shown
With 1,1,1-trichloroethane and other CFC related substances now banned, cold cleaners, degreasers and diluents provide a solution for common metals, most plastics and electronic materials.
Odourless cold degreasers cut smells
Two odourless cold degreasers remove oily/greasy pollutants in a wide variety of applications, including degreasing machinable parts and electrical components.
The company's research has highlighted a false perception that good electrical contacts can only be achieved if surfaces are clean and dry - but in reality, all electrical contacts suffer arc erosion, contamination, fretting corrosion, contact bounce and irregularities in surface finish, which a good, specialist, electrical contact cleaner and lubricant will help to eliminate.
Coded CCL 100, IDC's aerosol is a clear, low odour cleaner that can be used on plastics and metals from temperatures as low as -30degC.
Having removed grease and dirt, CCL 100 lays a residue of lubricant which forms a 'bridge' between contact faces through which the current can flow, so minimising the formation of hot spots, and reducing friction and contact resistance, resulting in a corresponding decrease in wear and enhanced conductivity.
Application is simply a matter of 'point and squirt'.
An extension tube allows accurate application to inaccessible parts.
IDC says that CCL 100 has a 400ml fill and uses class-leading raw materials and aerosol technology, free of CFCs and HCFCs, to ensure its effectiveness and allow longer periods between application.
