Energy efficient voltage regulators save space
Intersil has announced the ISL6422B and ISL6423B LNB supply and control voltage regulators, which save space and improve system reliability.
With less than 3ppm/degrees C of temperature drift, the device provides very precise performance, allowing for accurate measurements even in noisy environments with great temperature variations.
This combination of precision and low power consumption provides a new benchmark for precision voltage references.
The device provides new levels of power efficiency for precision instrumentation and data acquisition equipment.
The ISL21009 features very low noise (4uVpp for 0.1Hz to 10Hz), low operating current (180uA, max), and 3ppm/degree C of temperature drift.
In addition, the ISL21009 family features guaranteed initial accuracy as low as +/-0.5mV.
This combination of high initial accuracy, low temperature drift, and low output noise performance of the ISL21009 enables versatile high performance control and data acquisition applications with low power consumption.
With an operating temperature range of -40 to +125 degrees C, the ISL21009 has an input voltage range up to 16.5V, output voltages of 1.25V or 2.5V, and an output current capability of +/-7.0mA.
Target applications for the ISL21009 include high-resolution A/Ds and D/As, digital meters, barcode scanners, basestations, battery management/monitoring, and industrial/instrumentation equipment.
The ISL21009 is available now in an 8-lead SOIC package.
There is a 3ppm/degrees B version, a 5ppm/degrees C version, and a 10ppm/degrees D version.
Pb-free plus anneal is available (RoHS compliant).
