3-CCD camera offers precise color rendition
JAI offers the CV-M91, a 3-CCD RGB camera featuring the 1/3" Sony ICX408AL imager in the NTSC version and ICX409AL in the PAL version.
This results in an excellent price/performance ratio.
The interline transfer CCD permits full vertical and horizontal resolution with shutter speeds up to 1/16,000 sec.
It can be reset asynchronously by external pulse control.
Power consumption is 4.3W, unusually low for a megapixel camera.
In addition, the black level and video levels are more resistant to thermal variations from -10 to 50 deg C.
JAI PULNiX's patented look-up table (LUT) allows full dynamic range control of the CCD by externally selectable knee slopes.
The camera has both a digital Camera Link and analog output for interfacing with frame grabbers.
It also features an adjustable back-focus.
The TM-1402CL is available in both monochrome and color formats, and can optionally be ordered with an LVDS (RS-644) output.
Applications for the TM-1400 series include machine vision, medical imaging, intelligent transportation systems, high-definition graphics, gauging, character recognition, documents archiving, and surveillance.
