3-CCD camera offers precise color rendition
JAI offers the CV-M91, a 3-CCD RGB camera featuring the 1/3" Sony ICX408AL imager in the NTSC version and ICX409AL in the PAL version.
These systems need cameras that operate at substantially higher resolutions, while still offering the analog interface.
The CV-A2, capable of 15 full frames per second, features 1628 x 1236 resolution.
All settings, such as shutter speed, gain, trigger modes, readout modes, etc., are selected via an RS-232C interface using short ASCII commands via a terminal emulator, or by using JAI's Control Tool software.
The target markets for the CV-A2 include industrial inspection systems and high-end surveillance (including intelligent traffic systems).
The CV-A2 is especially suited to inspection applications in which step-and-repeat operation is required.
With a higher resolution camera, fewer steps are required to inspect the same object.
The CV-A2 is available now.
