Eliminate static charging in conveying
powders

Flow Tube eliminates material clinging and clogging in ducting, conveying and handling systems due to static charge.

The new 913 Flow Tube from static control specialist, Meech, is designed to eliminate material clinging and clogging in ducting, conveying and handling systems due to static charge When materials are moved through ducting, either by gravity or pneumatically, static charges can build up due to friction both between the particles themselves and also between the particles and the duct walls

This static charge causes particles to cling together and to the duct walls, resulting in bridging and blockage of restricted openings.

Any restriction in the movement of materials through the system decreases efficiency and down-time caused by the removal of blockages seriously reduces productivity.

The 913 Flow Tube comprises a stainless steel or PVC tube fitted with static elimination bars.

The diameter of the Flow Tube is selected to suit the specific application.

Typical applications for the tubes are the processing of waste materials such as thin plastic foil and the mixing of new and reclaimed materials where differentials in static charge can cause separation. Request a free brochure from Meech International ...
