Clean room ionising blower uses cross
flow fans
The product of an extensive R and D programme, cleanroom ionising blower meets the environmental criteria of high specification cleanrooms and the demand for ionisation in electronics industries.
The new Meech 220SS Cleanroom Ionising Blower has been developed specifically to meet the stringent environmental criteria of high specification cleanrooms and the demanding requirements for ionisation within the electronics industry The 220SS is the product of an extensive R and D programme, resulting in what is a world-leading product, for which a patent has been applied

Meech works on in-mould labelling quality
In-mould labelling (IML) is becoming more and more popular, with many companies adopting IML as a clean and effective way of decorating injection moulded parts, particularly in consumer electronics.
Air curtains use less compressed air, save energy
Air curtains offer reduced noise and compressed air usage as well as low initial and operating costs and the avoidance of electrical or explosion hazard.
The 220SS deviates from conventional design in that it is manufactured from 316 stainless steel, with a unique tear drop profile proven to minimise disturbances to cleanroom laminar airflows.
Key attributes of the 220SS include the use of cross flow fans instead of commonly used axial fans, resulting in virtually silent operation (typically less than 50dBA at medium fan speed), as well as increased laminar air volumes and velocities.
These in turn provide excellent decay rates and offset voltages over the standard EOS ioniser test pattern.
The absence of conventional axial fans also avoids concerns regarding particulation caused by worn fan bearings - the air duct system of the 220SS ensures that no wear parts, with the exception of emitters, are in the airflow.
The novel sensor grille has been designed to be easily hinged out of the way to allow even quicker access to the removable and replaceable titanium pins.
Other standard features include ion balance and "power on" indicators, and switchable auto shutdown and alarm systems.
The 220SS also features an IEC socket input, 8 pin DIN for data logging and RJ11 input for remote ioniser balance control, which allow balance to be controlled to typically +/-0.5V. Request a free brochure from Meech International ...
